I also like this unexpected ending. I have seen the same stories made over and over, several versions each. This one departed from the usual trope, going a different direction. I love that surprise!

Really love ML’s devotion towards the FL, both were given the 2nd chance and they didn’t throw it away instead rewrite the most beautiful ending of their story. No dramatic 3rd wheel and shouting scenes, a good storyline!

I actually think it’s better than some of the other tellings because sometimes it takes a different road to get to the same conclusion but with your eyes open to what’s actually in front of you

I'm not sure Adrian truly loved the female lead. He seemed to prioritize his duties as a general and was deeply moved by acts of sacrifice made in the name of peace.
As we've seen before, Adrian seemed to have a soft spot for any woman who was willing to sacrifice herself for the kingdom. In this case (or life), that was the female lead, not her sister. It almost seemed as though Adrian simply wanted what he couldn't have.
Adrian didn't say much, and it really felt like he stayed out of a sense of duty and obligation rather than love. I appreciate seeing a different take on a familiar storyli…

Well I did want one where he chased her again. At least it's different from him just being killed/destroyed/bankrupt. I know realization sometimes comes too late. I just wanted them to go through a different avenue vs the traditional one and I got it at least. No need one where male has memories and female doesn't and it changes everything or that first lifetime was his regret.
