Both voices are the real FAA radio recording, not actors. In the film, the 35-second test is Sully's idea. In the NTSB record, it's the Board's own: 8 of 15 runs by warned pilots made it back, and the one run with a 35-second delay landed short of the runway. Did the film get it wrong, or just make it dramatic? ✈️
