Damn bro I actually really really liked your old videos and I even went backed and watched some podcasts with you since I really liked you as a person and your ideas, but seeing you use AI for a short film and act like it's actually the same as something made by a real human by entering in a film festival is honestly heartbreaking. I really really loved your Japan vlogs and your mgs videos and also those story videos, but maybe that's all gone now...

AI has some valid uses. Making a crappy, sloppified "Up" ripoff isn't one of them. This was a hard, frustrating watch.

I didn't even remember this channel exists, just that the Dad & Sons podcast died years ago. NFT bro to GenAI slop-slinger pipeline on full effect. Not a huge surprise, really. With a mawkish description no less. You used to actually create. You still could, but throwing this out in the first place, instead of opting for the "nothing" option kind of implies you've entirely given up.
