   The mimic concept is what really got under my skin here — something that looks like a person and moves like a person, but just not quite right, is far scarier than an obvious monster. The way the cinematography lingers on that wrongness, especially in the woods, made every second feel tense. How did you direct the mimic's movement and posture to land in that uncanny almost-human zone?

   The scariest monsters are those that look like people, move like people...but not quite. Great film! Now I’m afraid to go into the forest)) Tell me, is this monster a person in makeup, or did you create it using computer graphics?
