Here is an easier way you could have done the actual counting:
1. Take out one jelly bean, weigh it.
2. Weigh the whole jar with the jelly beans.
3. Weigh the jar without the jelly beans.
4. Subtract and divide.

You do not need ai to approximate this; simply count the jellybeans in a straight line of the jar's height, width, and length, or xyz axis, and multiply them to get an approximate value of the amount of jellybeans in the jar; since the jar is a cuboid, it would be close.
