If you are an astronaut going into space for exploration you hope to discover entities like this who is outside of your comfort zone. To learn, to grow, to be open for new possibilities. You dont shut down, get angry and dismiss it because it is so foreign. If so, stay home.

It's hard to overstate how much this benefits from the dialogue being lean and well crafted. We've all seen a lot of AI clips with great visuals, dragged down by dialogue that is painfully obvious statements, whereas here it's crisp and always running a step or two ahead. And the visuals are always telling the story, rather than indulging in spectacle. The edit cut when they go from the ship to the planet, that has the restraint to put them immediately in the ground vechile and not have a gratuitously unneccessary landing shot, was absolutely quality editing and immediately made me appreci…
