The baby maiasaura recognizing the orodomeus warning call for the daspletosaurus and waking the older maiasaura was so beautiful. On another note the symbolism of the mom trying to stand and overcome her injuries to get to the baby and the baby trying to take its first steps was such a good touch.
    Beautifully crafted film as always.

The mother and baby struggling to get up together made me tear up. The visuals, the gorgeous music, the way the baby in particular was animated, it just suddenly felt so emotional. Astounding work as usual!!

Love the scene that shows Daspletosaurus *IS* also a parent

I love the fake out with the oviraptor. They were unfairly villainized!

Your ability to marry traditional aspects of storytelling like subversion of expectation, payoff, foreshadowing, and character development fully within the confines of nature simply being nature is well and truly amazing. The way you use so many elements (camera, color, lighting, etc.) to convey things the dinosaurs themselves can't is likewise brilliant.

The mother maiasaura standing up to be strong for her newborn child really hit hard for me. I think this might've been the first Dinosauria episode I've actually teared up to. All of what you've put out is amazing, David; this is something really special.

Thank you, David, for this huge opportunity. I say it with every film, and it's always true: working with you keeps inspiring me, challenging me, and making me a better composer. This one was especially emotional. I wrote it thinking of my wife, my mother, and all mothers. Such a beautiful film. And thank you all for the kind words! A lot went into this music, including Simon's and Yael's amazing work and David's guidance.

She was finally accepted into the flock.
I was on the edge of my seat with suspense,
terrified she might lose her life before the chick hatched.
But I’m glad she made it, and that last year’s chicks learned to look after her nest and heed the danger signals.
    Fantastic work, as always.
