About Horrorville

For generations, the monsters in the movies were never special effects. Vampires, zombies, werewolves, mummies, witches, ghosts, aliens and slashers quietly clocked in on Hollywood sets and scared audiences for real. It was steady work, until artificial intelligence learned to do it cheaper.

Horrorville picks up after the layoffs. The monsters are unemployed, stuck on the other side of a portal, and not handling it well. When a washed-up Dracula, an out-of-work zombie named Groul and two documentary filmmakers, Sarah and Eddie, cross back into modern Hollywood, the cameras keep rolling on all of it.
