Nice! The protagonist is actually in a VR pod under arrest for some crime. Matrix-like. Could be expanded into further chapters. ❤❤😊

If humans were given a choice today, to spend their lives in a dream where they could live any life they wanted, inside a cubicle where their bodies simply slept and their minds experienced that chosen life, I think a vast majority of people would prefer that dream state to the harsh realities of real life. If the dream felt completely real while you were experiencing it, you could have everything you wanted without having to endure the limitations, disappointments, pain, and struggles of real life.
Just a thought.
